Ravintsara essential oil has an herbaceous scent similar to Eucalyptus but sweeter. This is a fabulous oil for those who fight the seasonal environmental changes and what the wind brings with it. This might be your needed midday wake- up, or that special addition to a blend needed to support sore muscles.

Tisserand and Young note that Ravintsara essential oil is high in 1,8-cineole and can cause CNS and breathing problems in young children. This oil should not be applied to or near the face of infants or children under ten years of age. Maximum dermal use 11%.
